Acts of Life is a critical research residency initiated by NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore and the Museum of Contemporary Art and Design in Manila, with the support of the Goethe-Institute. The programme is driven by interdisciplinary research questions concerning digital technologies and human perception with regards to the entanglements of urbanism, nature and culture.

The main graphic on the programme catalogue is an organic shape that spreads from the front to the back cover. The dynamism of the gradient of colours and its fluidity acts as a metaphor for the rich cross fertilisation and dispersal of ideas from participants who hail from across the region, coming from diverse backgrounds and disciplines. We took visual cues from the existing Acts of Life logo, such as the organic dispersal of dots and the colour palette and applied it in our design. Circle dot graphics are employed as section indicators inside the catalogue to further accentuate the dispersal effect.
