Singapore Biennale
We worked with artist group AWKNDAFFR to create the identity for their multiauthored work for the Singapore Biennale 2022, including an 80m-long hoarding board. The main title uses a custom typeface inspired by constellations, navigational diagrams, and machine parts, while screenshots from the artists’ video work traversing Singapore form island-like clusters in the backdrop. Taking a concrete poetry approach to typography, the text is arranged to reference routes, networks, and movement.
