Devised theatre refers to an approach in theatre-making where the script is built by a performing ensemble through collaborative and often improvisatory methods. We worked together with Cultural Medallion winner Haresh Sharma and The Necessary Stage (TNS) on this publication which details over 30 years of theatre-making, illustrated by extensive research, rehearsal notes and discussions, archival material, fragments of scripts, interviews and case studies.
