Refraction Index brings together five local artists to explore the transformative possibilities of glass through a four-month experimental programme led by B. Jane Cowie of Refind, culminating in a showcase during Singapore Art Week 2024. The visual identity reflects this theme of light and transformation: a custom logotype distorts each letter at varying angles, akin to light bending through glass. A recurring degree symbol motif—forming I°N°D°E°X°—extends across headers, wayfinding, and social media, reinforcing ideas of refraction, direction, and material experimentation.
