Tracing Latencies examines how we relate to digitalised urban environments, revealing the hidden systems and algorithmic forces shaping everyday life. Our design uses time-lapse plant growth as a metaphor for making invisible processes visible and accelerated. Treated with a bitmap, night-vision aesthetic, the visuals evoke surveillance and data capture, highlighting tensions between organic rhythms and machinic speed.
